On the evening of July 23, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017), Keo Pagoda, Thai Binh, in conjunction with Vu Thu District Youth Union, organized a program to pray for the souls of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and heroic martyrs who sacrificed heroically in the cause of protecting and regaining independence and freedom for the Fatherland.

Attending and accompanying the program were government leaders at all levels, including Pham Dong Thuy, provincial Party Committee member, secretary of the District Party Committee; Vu Hong Quan, permanent deputy secretary of the District Party Committee, chairman of the People's Council of Vu Thu District; Dinh Vinh Thuy, deputy secretary of the District Party Committee, chairman of the People's Committee of Vu Thu District; Venerable Thich Thanh Quang, abbot of Keo Pagoda; Venerable Thich Thanh Thien, abbot of Tam Quang Pagoda, Vu Thu District; Tran Duc Toan, secretary of the Youth Union of Vu Thu District; and representatives of government leaders across the district.

On this occasion, the organizing committee also presented meaningful gifts to families of martyrs with especially difficult circumstances in the district. The program was attended by more than 500 union members and youths from across the district, along with volunteers from various clubs in the province. Following the deeply moving and captivating art program titled "Sacred Vietnam," in the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the delegates respectfully bowed to ring the bell and offer incense and flowers at the memorial to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who gave their lives for national independence and the happiness of the people.

This was an extremely meaningful program, expressing gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution, embodying the moral tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Filial piety and charity" of the nation. It carried profound political significance, serving as both a cultural beauty and a source of motivation to continue fostering and developing the movement of "Repaying gratitude" in the homeland of Thai Binh.
