Charitable Gift Giving for the Poor on the Occasion of the Year of the Rooster 2017

On the afternoon of January 17, Keo Pagoda (Duy Nhat Commune, Vu Thu District) collaborated with the Vu Thu District Red Cross Society and several philanthropists to organize the charity program "Spring of Love 2017", aimed at supporting the poor and individuals in especially difficult circumstances.

Venerable Thich Thanh Quang, Abbot of Keo Pagoda, personally distributed gifts to the underprivileged.

A total of 180 gifts, consisting of cash and essential goods with a combined value of 84 million VND, were presented to impoverished individuals, those facing extreme hardship, and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the communes of Duy Nhat, Hong Phong, Vu Tien, Viet Thuan, Vu Doai, and Trung An (Vu Thu District).

This annual initiative, held as Tet approaches, reflects the pagoda's commitment to alleviating the hardships of the less fortunate, bringing them additional joy as they welcome the nation's traditional New Year.
