Surprised with Three "Prescriptions" for a Happy Life

Human life involves desires, which leads to suffering. Knowing contentment leads to a happy life, and being able to let go leads to freedom. Cherish every moment of life, as time waits for no one.
There was a rich man suffering from a strange illness. He always felt that he did not have much time left to live, which caused him great distress.
Later, the rich man sought advice from an elderly hermit doctor. After taking his pulse, the doctor said:
'This illness has only one cure. Apart from this method, no medicine can save you. I have three prescriptions here. Follow each one consecutively. After completing one, move on to the next.'
Prescription One:
The rich man returned home and opened the first prescription. It read:
"Go to a beach, lie on the sand for 30 minutes, and do this continuously for 21 days."
Half-believing, he followed the instructions and ended up lying on the sand for 2 hours each time.
Because he was always busy with work, he had never felt so relaxed. Lying on the sand, listening to the seagulls, he felt an immense inner peace.
The Second Prescription
On the 22nd day, the rich man opened the second prescription. Inside it said:
"At the beach, find five creatures like fish or shrimp or clams and release them back into the sea. Do this continuously for 21 days."
He read it with doubt, but followed it anyway.
Each time he released a shrimp or fish back into the sea, he felt deeply moved.
The Third Prescription
On the 43rd day, the rich man opened the third prescription, which read:
"Find a branch, and on the sand, write down all your discontent and grievances."
The rich man followed the instruction, and after he wrote on the sand with the branch, the waves washed away what he had written. Suddenly, he was moved to tears and realized his mistakes.
When he returned home, he felt joyful, truly light, and at peace, no longer fearing death.
Because people don't understand these three things, they are not comfortable:
Rest
Sacrifice
Letting go
Know to cherish what we have now, and you will find that you are the richest person in the world. Greed is a poison; human desires never end. Those with a stable life want leisure. Those with leisure want luxury. As long as a person's desires have no limits, their life will never be joyful.
Those who know contentment are the ones who are happy. Cherish what we have now, and you will find that you are the richest person in the world.
