On the afternoon of June 17, 2018 (the 4th of May in the year of the Dog), the young people from Keo Village and the Youth Buddhist Club gathered at the Keo Pagoda Monastery in Duy Nhat Commune, Vu Thu District, to attend the prayer and counseling ceremony "Supporting the Exam Season" in 2018.
The ceremony was officiated by Venerable Thich Thanh Quang, the abbot of Keo Pagoda Monastery, Master of Literature from Hanoi University of Education, and attended by students preparing for the high school graduation exam, as well as the college and university entrance exams in 2018.
The "Supporting the Exam Season" prayer ceremony aimed to help young people relieve doubts, worries, and stress, and meet their spiritual needs as the exam season approached. Through the prayer ceremony and the blessings and encouragement from the monks, the students were able to supplement their knowledge, skills, and exam preparation experience, so they could feel confident and achieve good results in their graduation exams, as well as their college and university entrance exams.
After this important exam, some young people will continue to choose the path of studying at colleges and universities, while others may opt to build their own economic futures. Each path comes with its own challenges and obstacles. The message that the organizing committee wanted to convey to the young people is that no matter what path you choose, you must always strive to study well, live in accordance with the duties and responsibilities of a Buddhist, and bring goodness to your life.
During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented meaningful gifts to help the young people feel more confident for the upcoming exams.
